Affiliate disclosure

Last updated:

Articles on this site may contain affiliate links to multiple vendors. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you. This page explains how that works and why it doesn't change what we publish.

The short version

Nordics CRM is free to read because some of our articles contain affiliate links. When a reader clicks one of those links and signs up for a paid product, the vendor pays us a commission. This costs you nothing — you pay the same price you would by going to the vendor directly. The single sentence in the footer of every page is the site-wide disclosure of that arrangement.

Which links are affiliate links

We participate in publicly available affiliate programs across multiple CRM and marketing-software vendors. Any outbound link on this site that leads to a vendor sign-up or trial page may be an affiliate link. Outbound links are flagged with rel="sponsored" at the HTML level — the standard technical signal both the FTC and search engines look for — so the relationship is machine-readable on every page, even though we do not visually decorate individual links.

Links to vendors whose affiliate programs we don't participate in are plain editorial links: we earn nothing when you choose them. We link to them anyway because the honest answer to "which tool should I use?" is often "the one we don't earn on."

How commissions work

Vendor affiliate programs vary. Some pay a one-time bounty when a free trial converts to a paid subscription; others pay a recurring percentage for as long as the reader stays a paying customer. In every case, the amount we earn is paid by the vendor out of their own marketing budget. It has no effect on your price, plan, or contract terms.

Why commission doesn't change our reviews

A review you can't trust is worth nothing — to you or to us. Our editorial rules are fixed regardless of which vendor we earn from:

  • We publish honest pros and cons, including the cons of products we earn on.
  • Our comparison scorecards mark competitor wins as wins. We never all-green a table for the product we're paid to recommend.
  • Every review and head-to-head includes a "who this is NOT for" section.
  • We recommend competitors — and earn nothing — whenever they're the better fit.
  • No vendor reviews or approves any article on this site before it is published.

You can read more about our process on the about page and our editorial standards.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255, "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising," and the FTC's 2023 endorsement-guides update. The site-wide footer disclosure is visible on every page; rel="sponsored" is applied to every outbound affiliate link; and this page provides the full explanation any reader or regulator can consult.

Independence notice

Nordics CRM is an independent editorial publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of the vendors reviewed on this site. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
