What You Get on Each Plan
- Starter ($97/mo): no white-label. Useful for testing the platform; not for agency use.
- Unlimited ($297/mo): full desktop white-label: your domain, your branding, your favicon. Mobile app remains GoHighLevel-branded.
- Agency Pro ($497/mo): adds white-label mobile app (iOS and Android, your branding) and SaaS Mode (set your own client pricing and resell the platform).
Step 1. Pick Your White-Label Domain
Choose a subdomain of your agency's main site (e.g. app.youragency.com) rather than a brand-new domain. Subdomains inherit some trust from your established root domain, and clients reach a URL they already associate with you.
Avoid the temptation to call it 'crm.youragency.com' or anything that gives away the underlying product category. 'app.', 'portal.', and 'hub.' all read as branded software.
Step 2. Configure DNS and SSL
GoHighLevel will give you a CNAME record (or A record, depending on setup) to point at their infrastructure. Add it at your DNS provider: propagation takes anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours. SSL certificates issue automatically once DNS resolves; if you're seeing certificate warnings after 6 hours, contact GoHighLevel support.
Step 3. Brand the Desktop App
Upload your agency logo, favicon, and accent color in the Agency Settings → White-Label section. Use a square logo (at least 512×512) and a transparent PNG for the in-app header. Test in both light and dark mode: agencies routinely upload logos that disappear against the dark-mode background.
Customize the support email and the 'Powered by' footer (Agency Pro removes 'Powered by HighLevel' entirely; Unlimited replaces it with a generic line you can rebrand).
Step 4. Update In-App Email Templates
By default, password-reset and account-invite emails go out branded GoHighLevel. Override these in Agency Settings → Email Templates. The header, sender name, and reply-to address all need to point at your agency. This is the #1 place where 'we already white-labeled everything' agencies still leak the GoHighLevel brand.
Step 5. White-Label Mobile App (Agency Pro Only)
Agency Pro unlocks the white-label mobile app for iOS and Android. The app submission process takes 4-8 weeks through GoHighLevel's queue and requires you to supply branding assets, App Store metadata, and developer accounts. Plan for this lead time: your white-label mobile app is not available the day you upgrade.
Once approved, your clients install an app with your agency name in the App Store and your icon on their home screen. This is the single biggest perception lift in the entire white-label workflow.
Step 6. SaaS Mode Pricing (Agency Pro Only)
SaaS Mode lets you set your own monthly client pricing for the platform. You pay GoHighLevel one Agency Pro fee ($497/mo) and bill clients whatever you decide: typically $97-$297/mo per client. The margin between what you pay and what you charge is the SaaS revenue stream that the platform's marketing emphasises.
Practical pricing: most successful agencies charge clients $197-$297/mo for the platform alone, then bundle services on top. Pricing below $97/mo is usually a margin mistake; pricing above $397/mo invites comparison shopping where clients realize what the underlying tool actually costs.
Common Pitfalls
- Leaving default email templates branded GoHighLevel (most common leak).
- Forgetting to update the support email so clients email GoHighLevel directly when stuck.
- Logos that disappear in dark mode: test both.
- Upgrading to Agency Pro and expecting the mobile app to ship that week (queue is 4-8 weeks).
- Pricing SaaS Mode at $497/mo: at that point clients can find the public pricing themselves.
- Not securing your agency's own custom domain in the App Store before submission (someone else can claim a similar name).
